The  Athens Greek Festival

The Athens Greek Festival takes place every summer from June to September, and it includes various performances, like theatre, music concerts, ballet, opera and art exhibitions. The Rockwave Festival

The Rockwave Festival is organised every June in Malakasa, which is located about 35 km north of Athens. The duration of this festival is three days, and it welcomes rock musicians and bands from all over the world. The concerts last all day long, until midnight. The Rockwave Festival has hosted the show of many distinguished artists, like Leonard Cohen, Kylie Minogue, Patti Smith, Sting, Manu Chao, Robbie Williams and Metallica, and it is considered a leading festival in Eastern Europe.
