Most of the holidays are connected with peaceful, relaxing times. What if you are fed up with your daily routine and you want to feel alive, some adrenaline pumping in your vains? Greece is the place where you will find not only historic monuments and gorgeous nature but also you will be able to practice extreme sports.


There are many places where someone can have have skydiving, the most famous locations are Thessaloniki ,Lamia and Thebes. The training lasts three days and has a theoretical and a practical part. During the first falls the parachute opens on its own and afterwards you will learn how to do it yourself.



If motocross is your passion, then you should not leave it at home when you are on vacation. In Greece someone can find motocross tracks almost everywhere. In Attica, Central Greece, Evia, Peloponnese, Northern Greece and even in the islands, in Chios ,Santorini ,Syros , Leros , Crete (Aegean Sea)and in Corfu (Ionian Sea)


Rafting will lead you to deep canyons, besides leafy mountainsides, magical sceneries and you will have lots of fun, with a big dose of adrenaline. Some of the rivers you can do rafting are: Tavropos (Evritania), Evinos (Mountaineer Nafpaktia), Lousios-Alfios (Arcadia), Arachthos (tzoumerka), Voidomatis (Zagorochoria ).

In Greece exist many scuba diving clubs and organizations where, if you are a beginner, you can learn the diving techniques. Expert companies can provide you with the necessary equipment, which you can rent or buy. You will be able to find diving locations, all over Greece. In Attica, in the south coast at lake Vouliagmeni. Outside Athens at Porto Rafti, in Erotospilia. If you have a boat you can head towards Agia Marina and the surrounding islands. Also near Athens, in Salamina island, where scuba diving is allowed in the undersea archeological site.

Other diving locations are: Evia ,Chania , Kissamos, Gramvousa (Crete ), Sporades , Serifos , Milos , Kimolos, Sifnos , Santorini (Aegean Sea), Corfu , Zakynthos , Lefkada (Ionian Sea) etc.


Windsurfing is popular in Greece since 1980. It can be practiced in any windy beach, especially in Cyclades where it is really windy during summer. The best places to practice windsurfing are: Anavissos, Varkiza, Lavrio, Loutsa, Rafina, Schinia, Galazia Akti (Attica), Paros , Ios , Naxos , Santorini (Cyclades), Rhodes , Karpathos , Kos (Dodekanisa), Patra (Peloponnese), Lefkada , Zakynthos (Ionian islands), Crete , Skiathos (Sporades), Thessaloniki , Chalkidiki (Macedonia)
