Greek diversity at all points of the compass

Greece due to it’s geographic position - on the crossroads of Europe, Africa and Asia – has a very reach diversity, when it comes to it’s natural landscape. This is because it is affected by her neighbor regions, which also explains the coexistence of a great variety of flora and fauna within it’s small range.

Lovers of the authentic will definitely cherish the beauties of Greek nature. It’s unique history and culture in combination with it’s morphological variety and it’s vast natural resources brings forth an authentic bouquet of images, sensations and colors.

Edessa , Pella (North)

Yes Greece has waterfalls, even though it isn’t a tropical country with jungles! An entire park of waterfalls is located in Edessa, the capital of Pella. There you will find the biggest waterfall of the country, with 70 metres in height.

Lake Doxa, Feneo Korinthia (South)

An artificial lake, yet a unique natural landscape. Fir trees all around and mountains Zireia, Helmos and Dourdouvana, with their snow covered peaks, create a unique spectacle similar of an alpine landscape.

Mt. Filerimos, Rhodes (East)

Mountain Filerimos is located 15 km far from the capital Rhodes, it is a hill 267m. high. A pathway full of tickly planned cypresses, pines and other trees, leads to the top of the hill where, in relatively wide plateau, the Monastery of Filerimos is located.

Voidomatis river, Zagorochoria (West)

The turquoise water of the river is excellently combined with the grey and the green of the rocks and the plantation which embraces the river . Voidomatis crosses the Vikos-Aoos Natural Reserve, which is one of the most important and beautiful natural reserves in Greece.
