When you see Myrtos from the street above, it is love at first sight. The long sandy beach with the turquoise waters, the golden sand and the steep cliffs, looks like hidden in the arms of the cove. Everyone makes a stop to photograph this unique landscape before going down to sunbathe and swim. Myrtos is not the only asset of Kefalonia. But it is definitely its greatest!

Words are not enough to describe the beauty of this inaccessible by car beach in Zakynthos, The waters, the sand, the shipwreck in the middle of the beach, the scenery that reminds of a painting. But Shipwreck Beach is not only a stunning beach, one of the most photographed in Greece or maybe its trademark together with Acropolis. It is also a base jump for the lovers of extreme sports. And guess what. Is there a better photo to take there than yourself jumping in the endless blue?

Karetta karetta in Zakynthos
For the lovers of the wildlife, Zakynthos is an exquisite place. It is the island, and especially Laganas Beach and Marathonissi, where the rare species of sea turtle karetta karetta lives and lays its eggs. There are some spaces on the beaches that are protected, without sunbeds and umbrellas, but the most fascinating fact is that you can take the boat in Laganas Beach and see the sea turtles swim carefree. From my personal experience, this was the cutest thing I have ever done during my summer vacation.

Just wander around the Italian-style neoclassical mansions, the historical sites of the Venetian past and the narrow paved streets with the sounds of the Philharmonics. Corfu Old Town is a legend, and you will understand it only if you visit it and feel its aristocratic elegance.
