Are you willing to stay fit and active during your vacations in Greece? That is more than easy. Many all-inclusive hotels in Greece have a pool and a gym so you can stick to your fitness routine without even leaving your hotel. However, there is also the possibility to exercise even if you spend your vacations in a guesthouse or room to let in Greece. The weather in Greece is good, and open-air exercises are always possible. Plus, these activities can be combined with fun, entertainment and exploration of the place you have visited.

Swim

The waters of the sea on the Greek islands as well as in mainland seaside Greece are crystal clear, with an amazing turquoise colour. Furthermore, they are calm, ideal for swimming. Swimming is a perfect cardio activity to burn calories, but the best thing is that while swimming you can explore the nearby beaches, caves and rocky formations that are inaccessible by car, and otherwise you wouldn't be able to see them.

Hike

Sailing is also a very good option to exercise and explore inaccessible beaches and islands as well having an amazing island-hopping experience. In Greece, there are many marinas where you can rent a sailing boat and start your incredible journey.


Run

If you are a fan of running or jogging, in Greece, you can continue with your activity. However, remember that the weather in Greece can be really hot, so it is wise to run early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Running on the beach, on the sand is an effective way to strengthen your legs and burn many more calories than running on the terrain.

Walk

Walking is a very interesting activity to explore the island you have visited. If the island is tiny, such as Koufonisi or Paxoi, you can go everyday to the beach on foot. Furthermore, you can walk around the town of your destination, in its narrow paved streets that are unique and ideal for a stroll.
