The Most Colourful Greek Islands

You always admired the white and blue of the picturesque Greek Islands. But have you ever wondered which Greek islands are the most colourful ones?Discover the bright and vibrant colours of the authentic, traditional local architecture and be inspired to explore more of this gorgeous little country!

Symi is a small island that is situated in the Dodecanese group of islands in the Aegean sea. Symi is known for its amazing and picture perfect architecture that remains untouched from time and modern development.
While you are entering the beautiful port of Symi you will be surprised by its amazing natural beauty of the landscape, the perfect buildings washed in different colours that are all amphitheatrical around the port.
Symi is definitely one of the most beautiful Greek islands that you need to visit at least one time.
You can get to Symi easily from Rhodes or Kos island or any island of the Dodecanese.
Alternatively you can fly to Rhodes and then get here with a ferry.

Paros is the queen island of the Cyclades group of Greek islands. It has everything: wonderful sandy beaches, many activities to enjoy for travellers of every style and age, nice restaurants with good food, many bars and clubs to enjoy the night out and of course gorgeous architecture. Paroikia is the main Chora of the island and is so colourful and nice that will make you have your mobile camera always on!
Naousa is also a great place to explore and it is vibrant and colourful, too.
If you have a vehicle to get around the island, visit also the village of Lefkes a traditional village with an artistic touch and authenticity.

There are not enough words to describe this beautiful Greek island. Colourful, cosmopolitan, chic, posh and classic, Mykonos will satisfy any type of guest. Chora and Matogiannia are so bright, washed in beautiful colours such as blue, red, green , yellow etc that all make an amazing harmony that you can't take your eyes off it!
Little Venice is a must if you love colours and wonderful sunsets in the sea and an absolute place to be for a drink in the evening just to warm up your night out!

Klimata are small cave houses that fishermen used to build in order to keep their fishing boats safe from the winter and the weather. Today most of them have turned into nice little traditional houses right on the sea and are so colourful that look like fairy tales on the water! Milos is a beautiful Greek island with stunning beaches, unique caves and crystal clear bleu water. Milos is an ideal island to go to if you are in love as it is known as the island of love, a romantic escape in Cyclades!

Fiskardo is a little colourful port in Kefalonia island in the Ionian sea. A wonderful island full of natural green beauty, high mountains that fall into the sea, amazing beaches like Myrtos beach and great gastronomy and culture.
Fiskardo looks like an Italian gem in Greece as everything looks and smell Italian.
Get here by taxi, boat or a ferry and enjoy its unique vibe!
