The districts of Athens, where you can find bars and clubs to drink and dance, are innumerable, in Athens Center but also in the suburbs. 1. Syntagma-Monastiraki Square

Athens by night can give you its best in the area between Syntagma Square and Monastiraki. The top streets are Kolokotroni, Thisseos, Lekka, Romvis and Avramiotou as well as the square of Saint Eirini. Narrow streets, alternative or mainstream bars, music for every taste from everywhere, people dancing and laughing and signature cocktails make this area the hottest nightlife spot of Athens Center.


2. Kolonaki

5. Chalandri

Chalandri is a suburb, which is located 8 km north from Athens Center. It is considered to be a district of the middle-class of Athens, and it is full of bars, shops, taverns with music and nice restaurants. Chalandri is the spot, which the Athenians, who live in the northern suburbs of Athens, choose to spend their free time. Sixteen, Stalin, Peacock and Theory are the best bars in Chalandri.


6. Glyfada

Glyfada, 20 km from Athens Center, is located in Athens Riviera, in the southern side of Athens. Glyfada is a shopping area with great variety, but this variety can also be found in the nightlife. In Glyfada, there are many bars, and the most impressive thing is that during the summer months, are open many bars by the sea, on the beach, in a scenery that reminds of an island. The best beach bar is Ballux, while in the shopping streets of Glyfada, the top bars are Holly Spirit, Micro and Soletto.


7. Kifisia

Kifisia is the most elegant area in the northern side of Athens, 15 km from Athens Center. Towers, mansions and neoclassical houses are dominating this place, which is the best spot, where the high society of Athens has fun in expensive restaurants and cocktail bars.
