What to Pack for your Summer in Greece!

Are you ready for your perfect escape to the sun and the sandy beaches of Greece? Before you answer, here is a list with some useful necessary top things you need to check before you travel to Greece.

Sunscreen!

You may think it is an extra little thing that you can live without for a few days. Well, not in Greece! In the summer but also most of the time throughout the year the sun shines and is quite strong. So if you are living somewhere that the weather is cold and you are not used to a hot sunny weather, your sunscreen will be your ultimate partner during your summer holidays. Not only will it protect you from the sun, but it will save your skin for burning or other problems that sun might create to the sensitive skin.

Flip flops!

It doesn't need to be Havayanas just any type of open shoes where your feet breath will do.
Flip flops is a symbol of relaxed holidays and in Greece you can be sure that you will have that. Living the legendary Greek summer is an experience of its own and getting used to the style of the Greek summer is something quite important too as it will make your stay more comfortable. You can use your flips flops just around anywhere apart from places where a more smart dress code is needed.

Driving licence!

In some countries it is not necessary to always carry your driven licence with you. Well, in Greece you have to have your driven licence with you always when you drive because if a police stops you and you don't have it with you they can give you a fine and they don't play with this rule nor do they make any exception!

Light clothes!

As you know summer in Greece can be hot and dry. If you are thinking of bringing a light jacket most probably you will not use it. Bring  lots of light clothes, preferably with cotton fabric that absorb sweating and keep you dry and comfortable during the day or the night.
Also avoid synthetic materials as they will make you feel warmer and you will not like it.
If you are travelling with kids, better chose light fabrics too and of course their hat for the sun! Make sure you bring yours too or consider of buying one that is best for you! In the case of the hat, the bigger the better as you need it for protection from the strong sun all the time.

Lots of Bikinis!

The more the better, bikinis were made to travel to Greece and the Greek islands in the summer. You can be sure it will be what you will wear most of the times as you will spend most of the time on the beach swimming, sunbathing and just playing around! So a bikini is always a girl best friend!
