Grekis Hotel & Apartments

Surrounded by olive groves, Hotel Grekis is located directly on the organized beach and offers accommodation in bright, self-catering studios and apartments. The hotel has 12 studios and 6 apartments, all of them open out to a furnished balcony or veranda overlooking the Messinian Gulf with the Mount Taygetos in the background. All air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a kitchenette with cooking facilities and a fridge, a TV and feature a private bathroom with a bath or shower and a hairdryer.

Guests can start a day with breakfast, prepared from the fresh, local products and served on the terrace with the view of the endless blue sea. Snacks and several traditional Greek dishes are available at the on-site snack bar.

Grekis Hotel is located right on the beach where guests can use sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge. The traditional village of Petalidi with taverns and a few small shops is less than 1 km from the hotel. The hotel is not only an ideal place for relaxing holidays in beautiful Messinia region, it is also an ideal starting point for daily excursions.

Kalamata city, where you can visit the historical town with the neoclassical buildings and try delicious Greek dishes in local taverns, is at 32 km. Mani area famous for the stone built villages and the impressive caves of Dyrou can be reached within a 1,5-hour drive. Grekis Hotel can arrange for you car rentals or excursions to the Ancient Messene, the Archaeological site of Olympia or famous Sparti and Mystras Monasteries. The medieval castle town of Monemvasia is a 3-hour drive away.
